Set Aside: Total Small Business Classification Code: Z-Maintenance, repair and alteration of real property NAICS Code: 236 Construction of Building/ 236210 Industrial Building Construction (Repairs) Subject: The scope of this project is for non-personal contract to provide construction services for the repairs of an existing collapsed section of roof attached to building E4081. Synopsis: Maryland Army National Guard intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform repairs of collapsed roof section on a Varco-Pruden building. Repairs to be accomplished by a Varco-Pruden licensed and authorized contractor in order to maintain original warranty coverage. The contract duration is 30 days of less after Notice to Proceed (NTP) This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236210 with a size standard of $36.5 Million dollars. Order of Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000 IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.204 (b). This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribe in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912K6-17-Q-0053 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The results of this requirement will be a Firm-Fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the government to do so. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219.14 (b)(4) Limitation of Subcontracting which states " By submission of an offer and execution of a Contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concerns will perform at least fifteen (15) percent of cost contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. CLIN 0001 Repair of VARCO-Pruden Collapsed Roof Section: To include but not limited to the following (See Attached Solicitation, Offer, and Award Standard Form-1442 (SF-1442)). a. Remove and reinstall fire suppression system, lightning protection system, lighting, and other associated equipment. b. Remove and dispose of damaged roofing materials c. Repair roof to original or as Modified in Part 5 (see attachment) d. Clean project site and return to original conditions CLIN 0002 Contractor Manpower Reporting (CMRA) FFP The contractor shall report all labor hours (including Subcontractor Labor Hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for MDARNG via a secure data collection site.
