Description
Amendment 0004 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for maintenance dredging of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) between High Island and Bolivar Flare. Schedule No. 1 consists of pipeline maintenance dredging between High Island and Rollover Pass of approximately 863,000 cubic yards (CY). Beach placement at Rollover Beach of approximately 178,000 CY. Work under Schedule No. 1 is to be completed no later than 110 calendar days after acknowledgement of Notice to Proceed. Option No. 1 consists of additional dredging between Rollover Pass and Bolivar Flare of approximately 154,000 CY. An additional 16 calendar days will be added to the contract duration if Option No. 1 is exercised. Option No. 2 consists of additional dredging of the Channel to Port Bolivar, North Ferry Channel of approximately 100,000 CY. An additional 16 calendar days will be added to the contract duration if Option No. 2 is exercised. Option No. 3 consists of additional dredging of Sections at Rollover Pass of approximately 180,000 CY with beach placement on West Rollover Beach. An additional 30 calendar days will be added to the contract duration if Option No. 3 is exercised. Option No. 4 consists of additional dredging of Sections at Rollover Pass of approximately 180,000 CY with placement at Placement Area Nos. 35 & 36. An additional 20 calendar days will be added to the contract duration if Option No. 4 is exercised The estimated award date for this project is September 14, 2017. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The solicitation is advertised as "Unrestricted" full and open competition for both large and small businesses. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 26 July 2017. Response date is 6 September 2017 @ 11:00 AM (Amend# 0004). ATTENTION TO OFFEROR(s)/CONTRACTOR(s): On July 14, 2014, Small Business Administration (SBA) increased the monetary-based industry size standards to account for inflation. You must update your Representations (Reps) and Certifications (Certs) for the impacted North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes identified with an exclamation point "!" next to the "Small Business" value in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please log into SAM, review, and resubmit your registration to apply the new size standard. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million.
