- R17PS01121 - Training Center TV Installation - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, except to facilitate the submission of electronic quotes through FedBizOpps. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. R17PS01121) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-95, dated 01/19/2017. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 238210 is $15 Million. (v) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Line item 0001 - Installation services for Smart TV's and Video Tele-Conferencing units. The Statement of Work provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (All attachments may also be found at www.fedconnect.net, by searching for the RFQ number R17PS01121, using the reference number search criteria, under "Search Public Opportunities Only".) (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, has a requirement to install sixteen (16) 75" Smart TV's and to relocate two (2) video tele-conferencing units in building 100. Please see the Performance Work Statement, as it provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Reclamation anticipates awarding one firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this RFQ. (vii) Work shall begin on or about October 2, 2017. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial service acquisition: (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items - addendum replaces the term "offer" with "quote" within the provision at 52.212-1. In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision of this solicitation, each quoter shall submit a quote in accordance with the instructions contained in this provision. (A) GENERAL QUOTATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) Vendor shall submit a firm-fixed price quote for CLIN 0001. Quote shall include all the costs to complete the requirements in the Statement of Work. (2) Submit the following information: Dun and Bradstreet Number Systems (DUNS): ___________________________ Contractor E-mail Address: ___________________________________________ (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest price from a responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the RFQ. Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory, and quotations will still be accepted from vendors who do not attend, but it is strongly encouraged.
