Description

Sole Source JOTFOC Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Ice Breaker Patrol Class, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Contract Project Management LLC for the following parts and service: 1. Cotta Speed Increaser Gear Assembly, Speed 2. Installation Support Services of existing/new unit Contract Project Management has the warranty for the bubbler unit and to prevent the voiding of the warranty is the only source available for this equipment and service. Period of Performance: Three day period between 16 Oct and 04 November This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC BRISTOL BAY. Vendor will provide all the parts/services listed above. NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST 06 Sept 2017 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Kristen.J.Thomas@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: Contract Project Management LLC Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Contract Project Management LLC
