Description

Synopsis: This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (Emergency Repair of Sewer System). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking qualified sources (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Small Businesses) to furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to do emergency repair of the sewer system at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd. Dixon, CA 95620. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified sources relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NACIS) 562991. The Small Business Size Standard is 7.5 Million. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the response to this sources sought synopsis. General Scope of Work: Work in this project includes but is not limited to: Provide construction fence around entire repair area for safety. Remove sod and plants for replanting. Excavate all 7 risers and seal all risers Seal risers with epoxy and grout. Install new ½ hp NHB105 EW effluent pump Remove leach field return line from the septic tank and run to pump tank Back fill excavation and caompact to 90%. Repair sprinklers, piping and heads as required Dispose of all debris and spoils off-site. Submission requirements for responses to this source s sought synopsis; -Statement indicating your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. -Provide a copy of registration in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov, which must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE). -Name of the Firm with address, phone and point of contact.
