Description

The contracting office, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Bremerton, WA, intends to award a sole source, fixed-price contract to Siemens Healthcare Diagnositics Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) for the existing Cost Per Reportable standing order for the existing two (2) CA560 Coagulation Analyzers. To include all reagents; consumables and full service and maintenance. Period of Performance - 10/01/2017 - 09/30/2018 This award will be made to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, 115 Norwood Park South, Norwood MA 01062-4633. The sole source justification is based on Siemens Healthcare being the manufacturer and only vendor that can provide the Service and consumables compatible with the existing vendor owned analyzer. If a vendor challenges the basis of this requirement, please email product capability statement to Becky Smith @ rebecca.m.smith78.civ@mail.mil. Email challenges are preferred. Closing date of this notice is 8/29/2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516, with a size standard of 500. This procedure will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
