Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for an Abbott HL7 Interface with applicable Installation, Licenses, and Maintenance Services for the Asheville VAMC with Abbott Laboratories, Inc. in accordance with FAR 13.106-1. The Government intends to award the contract on or about August 30, 2017 to Abbott Laboratories, Inc. 200 Abbott Park Road; Abbott Park, IL 60064. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), requiring publication of the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for quote and no solicitation shall be made available. Any responses received shall only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The government shall not pay for any costs incurred by responses to this notice.
