Description

This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11 million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to Minneapolis VA Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service are intended to begin 01 March 2017 through 28 February 2018 for the base year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 13 September 2017 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) requires contractual services to provide 1.84 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Interventional Radiology (IR) and Vascular Ultrasound Physician Services on site in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) specifications to beneficiaries of the VA and the MVAHCS. Physicians providing onsite IR and Vascular Ultrasound Physician Services must be American Board of Radiology certified. Questions regarding this Pre-Solicitation and the attached DRAFT PWS must be in writing and sent via email to toni.washam@va.gov. The DRAFT PWS is provided for planning purposes only and is subject to change. Proposals, when requested, must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only.
