Description

The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) is soliciting offers under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number VA261-17-Q-1060 to replace existing locksets with privacy locks hardware for sliding and swinging doors, in accordance with the scope of work, contract drawings, and per applicable standards and requirements. This acquisition implements a 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The NAICS Code is 238990; Size Standard is $15 Million. Offers received from concerns that are not SDVOSBs shall not be considered. SDVOSBs must be verified for ownership and control and listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to the due date for proposals. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services entailed within the solicitation. COMPLETION TIME: (120) calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Units and services shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Technical Specifications, and terms and conditions contained in the solicitation. Please see the attached SOW for a complete breakdown of all required deliverables for this requirement. PRE-BID SITE VISIT: Potential offerors are highly encouraged to inspect and investigate the performance site by observation. Offerors are also urged to submit Requests for Information (RFI) and responses to the Contracting Office to satisfy their understanding of the work to be completed. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award. Because of the distance between the various locations, there will be NO organized site visits. Nevertheless, access to the facilities shall be coordinated with the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) prior to self-guided inspections. There will be no VA Personnel available at the time of your self-guided visit to show you around or answer any of your questions. You must call the COR to make sure he/she knows you are visiting the premises. No additional sums will be payable because any escalations in the cost of materials, equipment, or labor, or because of the Contractor s failure to properly estimate or accurately predict the cost or difficulty of achieving the results required by this contract.
