Site Visit Minutes / Sign-in Sheet Parachute Shop Amendment 1. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE; DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICE TO PROVIDE CAPABILITIES STATEMENTS OR NOTICE OF INTEREST. Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 355th Contracting Squadron, will solicit for a Firm Fixed Price contract at Davis-Monthan (DM) Air Force Base (AFB), Tucson, Arizona (AZ). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $36,500,000.00. The work to be performed consists of Parachute Shops. The following descriptions are for general reference only, and shall not be construed as a complete list of all operations to be performed. a. The work includes the Repair/Construct Addition to the Parachute Shop, facility 4824 at DMAFB and related site work due to the proposed construction activity. b. All work shall comply with the current Base Design Compatibility Guidelines (DCG), and bring the parachute shop up to current codes, and supervision necessary to complete the following project at DMAFB, AZ in accordance with (IAW) the proposed specifications: FBNV 1200068 Parachute Shop. IAW FAR 36.204; the project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. AT A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WILL BE REQUIRED: THIS PROCUREMENT IS A COMPETITIVE SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED (SDVO) SMALL BUSINESS (SB) SET-ASIDE. For this contract, a contractor shall receive an award based on Sections L & M in the solicitation. The successful contractor shall be selected based on the lowest proposed price and upon determination by the Contracting Officer that the prospective contractor is responsible IAW FAR 9.1. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation. An initial Pre-Performance conference will be held at DMAFB, Tucson, AZ. The performance period for this project is 258 calendar days. Interested SDVOSB firms will be required to show evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project as outlined in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 1 August 2017. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation will be available in electronic format, at no cost, from the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at www.fbo.gov; no paper copies will be issued. Potential offers are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM Web site at www.sam.gov. All responsible contractors may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency.
