Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Southern Region, AAQ-510(ATL), College Park, GA, is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) # DTFASA-17-R-00876 to Purchase two (2) Dozers - one (1) for Vancouver WA; one (1) for Salt Lake City UT in accordance with the attached Specifications and the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 33320 Construction Machinery Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 1250 employees. Please provide the following completed documents with your quote: 1.SOLICITATION/CONTRACT/ORDER FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Complete blocks 16, 25 & 28 a, b, & c and 22 & 23 for each line item) 2.Single page memorandum indicating your System for Award Management (SAM) active registration information to include Cage Code, DUNS number, and business size. Quotes are due 8 September 2017 at 3:00 pm Eastern Time. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the solicitation process. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. The FAA reserves the right to make multiple awards to more than one vendor off this solicitation. This advertisement is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of offers in response to this solicitation. Please note that the FAA e-mail server restricts file size to 5 MB per email message, therefore, responses may have to be submitted in more than one e-mail in order to be received. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law by President Clinton on November 15, 1995. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The FAA ™s new Acquisition Management System (AMS) became effective on April 1, 1996 and applies to this requirement. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
