Description

This is a synopsis only. A solicitation is anticipated to be issued 15 days after this posting. This synopsis is for non-commercial items. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division- Picatinny Detachment (NSWC IHEODTD), Indian Head Maryland, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to LBI Inc., Groton, CT 06340-3272. This contract will be negotiated with LBI Inc. as they are the only known vendor that can provide this item. Inquiries may be directed to Wayne Brown NSWC IHD - Picatinny Detachment ( wayne.r.brown@navy.mil ), Bldg. 61N, Code 022WB, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. This synopsis is for information purposes only. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Navy is procuring a quantity of twenty-five (25) CNU-308/E P/N 1670AS100 containers, and the expected delivery date is one-hundred-eighty (180) days after contract award. The contractor shall manufacture quantity of one (1) First Article unit and a quantity of twenty four (24) CNU-308/E Containers
