This acquisition is a total set-aside to small business concerns under the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program and is therefore open to all qualified SDVOSB small business concerns under the NAICS code of 237110. The description of work to be performed under the resulting contract is as follows: The contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the contract specifications, statement of work, and drawings to provide repair and replacement of water lines and associated appurtenances. The project is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington. The site consists of paved roadways, driveways, roadway Shoulders, and water tanks near various Buildings. Landscape, gravel areas, curbing, gates, fencing, and trees are located within the site. The construction activities include the replacement of approximately 12,000 linear feet of 16-inch and 12-inch water main. Portions of existing piping are asbestos cement. Portions of asbestos cement piping require removal and disposal per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements. The existing water mains serve existing buildings and those buildings shall remain in use throughout construction. The existing paved roadways are located throughout the project limits and shall remain in use throughout construction.
