Description

VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a commercial FAR (Part 12) Sole source procurement with Rees Scientific, Corporation. 1007 Whitehead Road EXT, Trenton, New Jersey 08638. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This announcement constitutes only the intent to sole source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing (Size standard 500 Employees). This procurement is for: REES Scientific Temperature Monitoring & Alarm System Annual System Validation for VA Long Beach Healthcare System located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
