Description

Special Notice- Intent to sole source Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spectrum (formally Oceanic Time Warner), 200 Akamainui St. Mililani HI 96789. The proposed contract action is to provide cable internet services for for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate, under the authority of section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. under Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1),services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The acquisition is for J10CE building 1232 on Joint Base Hickam, HI. This is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government believes that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency requirements. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this acquisition by 07-September-2017 @ 410 a.m. EST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquires must be submitted in writing via e-mail to eric.h.jaeckel2.civ@mail.il. Telephone inquires will not be accepted, nor written responses received after 07-September-2017
