Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 1, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, with the CBS Radio, as the only responsible source for advertising as needed by VISN 1 to commence on August 28, 2017 through August 27, 2018. The contract will include FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for up to six additional months. CBS Radio is the advertising organization with sole rights for commitment for the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins games within the VISN 1 catchment area. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government s belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government s intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This is not a Request for Proposal. If other companies can provide equal services at this location for the VISN 1, vendors must submit their technical capabilities, to include, technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government s technical representatives for consideration for future requirements. Email statements are preferred. Statements are due no later than September 5, 2017. Phone inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a solicitation; it is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source requirement.
