Description
Solicitation Number W912P8-17-R-0049 UNRESTRICTED The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, and kickoff education required to assess the US Army Corps of Engineers District Headquarters facility to execute a single stream recycling and trash collection service. Recycling is mandated by Presidential Order that requires Federal Agencies to recycle over 50% percent of waste generated at each facility by FY 2013. Current containers used to remove trash from the HQ Facility include 10 each 3 cubic yard containers, 7 each 6 cubic yard containers and 1 each 30 yard container. Majority of Single Stream Recycling will come from the HQ Building utilizing the 3 cubic yard containers. Fifty to 80 percent of trash removed from the HQ Building will be recyclable, and must be diverted from Land Fills to Recycling Centers. Failure to do so will be a breach of contract. True waste will be delivered to area land fills in accordance to current local, state, and federal laws. Contractor will be responsible for separation of all recycled items. Solicitation W912P8-17-R-0049 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 562111. This solicitation is issued as UNRESTRICTED. Request for quotes are due on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov).
