- Pre-Solicitation Notice -Replace Generators/Distribution VTS Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 30 CONS, 1515 Iceland Ave, Room 150, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437-5212 The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation, Request for Proposal Number FA4610-17-R-0016 Replace the Generators at the VTS (Vandenberg Tracking Station) on Vandenberg AFB, California, on or about 25 September 2017. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to replace the existing pair of 1000 kW natural gas generators with diesel generators, along with all associated switchgear and equipment, install a new underground 12kV power line with manholes, and replace the site switchgear on Vandenberg AFB. The Award is contemplated as a competitive 8(a) set-aside geographically limited to 8(a) Program Participants with a bona fide place of business in the SBA Los Angeles District service area. The NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $15M. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and FAR part 36 Construction and Architect - Engineer Contracts. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Additional information or postings will be posted for viewing on FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov/. Notice to potential offeror(s)/supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror of any cost.
