- STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) as of 07/07/2017 1. Contract Title. Upgrade hardware and software for B210 P1 elevator 2. Background. Resident guard was recently installed in building 210. This is supposed to prevent patients from wondering off using the elevator and/or stairways. Unfortunately, it was found after resident guard install that the elevator P1 controls was not compatible and would need to be modified to accept the new inputs and outputs the resident guard requires. 3. Scope. Upgrade hardware and software in building 210 P1 elevator control panel. 4. Specific Tasks. Contractor to furnish and install the labor, materials, tools and supervision to perform the following work on the passenger located at Building 210 P1. -Add I/O s to the CPU board to allow proper function. This will be done by an engineer which we will bring into town. -Add revised software provided by equipment OEM to support new functions. -Log into the unit with KONE Inc laptop to make necessary changes to allowing the unit to operate with new system. Work with Resident Guard installer to finalize installation and verify operation. Deliverables: 5. Performance Monitoring Quality and quantity of work will be monitored by the Electric Supervisor 6. Security Requirements 7. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI). 8. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations. a. Identification of Possible Follow-on Work. b. Identification of Potential Conflicts of Interest (COI). c. Identification of Non-Disclosure Requirements. d. Packaging, Packing and Shipping Instructions. e. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria. Electric shop supervisor is responsible for inspection and acceptance. 9. Risk Control 10. Place of Performance. VAMC Chillicothe, Ohio Building 210, P1 elevator mechanical room 11. Period of Performance. Within 30 days of contract award 12. Delivery Schedule.
