Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23) anticipates issuing a solicitation on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA Medical Center, 2101 Elm St. N., Fargo, ND 58102 for Cardiology Physician Services, in accordance with FAR parts 12/15, and 38 USC 8153. A Firm fixed price contract with a base period of six (6) months, and one (1) six (6) Month option is contemplated. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. The solicitation will be for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to provide 1.0 FTE Cardiology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the VAMC. 1.0 FTE is defined as 40 hours per week; 2080 hours per year. Services shall be provided on-site at the Fargo VA Medical Center. The Contractor s physician(s) care shall cover the range of Cardiology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by The American College of Cardiology (ACC): http://www.cardiosource.org/Science-And-Quality/Practice-Guidelines-and-Quality-Standards.aspx. This solicitation shall be issued as 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code 561320 Temporary Help Services-Size Standard $27.5 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on the Government Point of Entry on or about September 8, 2017. All inquiries should be submitted via e-mail to Ken Eshom @ ken.eshom@va.gov. The prospective offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
