- The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System is seeking information on possible sources for each of the three system components, and their installation and integration a new mental health research facility. This is not a request for quotations. Large businesses are eligible to respond, however if your business is registered in the federal System for Acquisition Management (SAM www.sam.gov) as a small business under NAICS 334516 (or similar) and can provide each of the three components, as well as provide integration and installation, please respond affirmatively with that information. All responses must be received by 5 PM EDT on September 13th, 2017. Importantly, and in addition, if your business is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran-Owned Small Business (SD/VOSB) as registered in the VA s Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) be sure to indicate that in your response. The three components are: BioTek Cytation 5 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader, Brand-Name or Equal. Salient characteristics: Must have automated digital microscopy and multi-mode detection Fluorescence, brightfield, color brightfield, and phase-contrast imaging modes Timelapse and montage imaging methods 1.25x to 60x (approximately) magnification 16-bit CCD camera or better Autofocus Image processing software for cell counting Capable of performing fluorescence, absorbance, and luminescence spectral scans Gas control and monitoring for CO2 and O2. Must be able to control temperature up to 65 degrees Celsius. BioTek BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator, Brand-Name or Equal. Salient characteristics: Must handle lidded and unlidded microplates up to 24.5 mm tall Must handle cell culture (35 mm and 60 mm) dishes and T25 flasks Must be able to control temperature up to 45 degrees Celsius Software that provides control, monitoring, and logging of CO2/O2 levels and humidity. Provides for scheduling and reporting for all liquid handling, detection, and imaging workflows. Capability to run uninterrupted for up to 2 weeks. BioTek MultiFlo FX Microplate Dispenser, Brand-Name or Equal. Salient characteristics: Ability to dispense up to four reagents in parallel. Must be compatible with differing microplates, including 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96-, 384-, and 1534-well microplates, including plate washing capability, and random access dispensing. Able to dispense individual volumes into individual wells. Must be user programmable, have USB port for protocol transfer and storage, with onboard and pc-based software for programming and execution.
