Description
Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Conexsys (Hi-IQ)., 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Suite 402 Lincoln, RI 02865 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance for this contract is a base year and three (4) option years which may or may not be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 and has a size standard of $38.5mil for this procurement. The expected award date for this contract is on or about September 20, 2017. The overall purpose is to provide and configure an Interventional Radiology Management and Tracking System Software at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) for the Diagnostic and Imaging Department located at 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. To ensure that the equipment functions and operates as intended by the manufacturer maintenance service must be performed on this contract. Currently Conexsys is the sole distributor of their software and does not authorize other vendors to use or work on their system. This notice is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals, or quotations and no solicitation will be issued. The government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice however contractors who disagree with this action may submit a letter of interest that demonstrates your firm s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition to include a rationale for why you should be considered. Responses shall be received no later than 5 calendar days after the posting of this notice and shall be submitted via e-mail only to Aaron Angstadt, Contract Specialist, Aaron Angstadt. Late responses shall not be considered. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and phone calls will not be returned. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement (based on the responses received to this notice) is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in responses. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Responses to this notice shall not be considered a response to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government if it is determined that it is in their best interest to do so. The government reserves the right to proceed with an award after the closing date of this notice.
