Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Pulse Oximeters, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, as prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. (ii) The solicitation number is VA244-17-Q-1332 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (iv) This solicitation is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and the associated NAICS code 339113 has a small business size standard of 750. Remote station shall have built-in recharger and Bluetooth capability. Typical Work Flow Case Situation:   During an exercise session two providers are monitoring the patient, provider 1 is seated at the remote station (approximately 8 feet from the 4 cases being monitored) observing and taking notes on patient physiologic data,  the 2nd provider is standing and coaching the exercise session while at the same time observing the large graphic display attached to the bicep of patients arm.   System Integration: The unit is not integral to any other unit in the facility and to be used specifically in a new specialized program.
