Description

SECTION A CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, El Paso VA Health Care System located in El Paso, TX requires 18 computer tables with see through top for computer screen, 3 computer desks, and 140 chairs. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective January 19, 2017. The solicitation number is VA258-17-Q-1382, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is a total Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 337217, Office Furniture (Except Wood) Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Delivery will be 60 days after award. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract, in accordance with FAR 13.5, and subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation format as follows.
