Description
The White House Medical Unit (WHMU) has a requirement to procure a Telehealth Clinical Access & Xpress Stations system. The Government intends to procure this item on a sole source basis from Iron Bow Technologies, LLC because preliminary market research indicates that only Iron Bow Technologies, LLC, as the only authorized reseller of the Global Medical Group's "Clinical Access & Xpress Stations System," can meet the Government's requirements because it is the only solution authorized to operate on the WHMU's network. Any deviation from this authorization would create a system which would not integrate with the currently installed systems. Additionally, GMG clinical access stations and transportable exam stations provide the highest level of compatibility with existing systems, the approved networks encompassed in the WHMU telemedicine footprint have been seamlessly integrated with other existing Government-operated telehealth equipment and systems (in both classified and unclassified environments) and the systems have been verified for compatibility and integration into the existing telework network, by the White House Communication Agency Information Technology section, the DHA Innovations and Advanced Technology Development Division and the U.S. State Department. Consequently, no other telemedicine capabilities are capable of meeting the current requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations and a solicitation for this requirement will not be issued. Prospective offerors are advised that, because there are no other known sources, the agency has authorized the procurement of this item under than full and open competition under FAR 6.3. However, interested responsible sources may submit capability statement for the agency's consideration in determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted in the future for this item. A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than 14 days after contract award.
