Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS ARE AVAILABLE. The Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center (OVAMC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract for base plus four one year option period to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). OVAMC intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract to Abbott Molecular Incorporated for annual maintenance and repairs of Abbott M2000 Series Hepatitis Analyzers. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with "RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Abbott Molecular, in the subject line, and documents submitted will not be returned. Interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Officer, Rohan McKenzie by email at rohan.mckenzie@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 18 September 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for the North American Classification Code (NAICS) 811219 is $20.5M.
