- Description
- The Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I) Communications Program Office (PMW/A 170), is seeking information from industry on approaches, products and/or solutions for software design and development, hardware and software integration and system sustainment for the Wideband Anti-Jam Modem System (WAMS). The WAMS is the Navys next generation of Wideband SATCOM modem system that will be integrated with the Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) and the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) terminals on shore, ships, submarines, and aircrafts. Operating with Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) X and/or Ka frequency bands and commercial transponded satellites, the WAMS will serve primarily as a high throughput SATCOM modem for a benign environment with the capability to provide assured communications in a degraded or denied communications environment (D2CE). Please refer to the attached Request for Information (RFI) for additional information and white paper submission instructions. Responses are due to the Government by 16 OCTOBER 2017 10:00 PDT.
