Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION OBJECTIVE: The objective of this requirement is to replace the current floor within the NSWG-10 HPP facility with a flooring system that can withstand the repeated, high impact activities performed through various fitness programs. It should be designed to reduce injuries, particularly when performing explosive movements. The flooring system will also withstand the environmental conditions of the facility to include high humidity. Naval Special Warfare Group TEN (NSWG-10) is located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story in Virginia Beach, VA. BACKGROUND: NSWG-10 requires specialized high performance facilities and equipment to test, train, and educate personnel in various physical fitness activities. This supports the SOCOM requirement to enhance and maintain operational performance and longevity of the Special Operations Force (SOF). This flooring system will replace the worn out and unsafe flooring currently installed in the NSWG-10 HPP facility.
