- The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) on behalf of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICOE) requests responses from qualified sources capable of supplies that are brand name or equal for the below specified 32" MR (magnetic resonant) safe monitor. MECS OR EQUAL SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Cortech Solutions 32" SD-VS-CBBS32 Magnetic Resonance (MR)-Safe Display Screen BRAND NAME or EQUAL 1. All hardware shall be MR-safe and customized to be compatible with the GE750 MRI scanner housed in NICoE's Neuroimaging suite. Due to the sensitive nature of MR imaging, any equipment introduced to the scanning environment shall be made purely of non-ferromagnetic material to both ensure patient safety and optimize data quality. 2. Shall demonstrate to have no observed effect on functional and structural MRI scans. 3. Shall have a standard digital DVI input. 4. Shall be capable of delivering: a. Real-time high resolution (specifically 1920x1080) b. Output that is lag free and synchronous to the input video signal c. LED matrix backlighting for spatial uniformity d. Real-time integrated calibration e. Built-in horizontal flipping for rear-projection configuration f. 120Hz refresh rate or greater 5. Display shall be accompanied by an MR-safe mounting mechanism that is compatible with our rear-projection set-up and can be positioned as close as 1ft from the end of the bore. The mount must be configured in a way that allows the display screen to be centered horizontally and vertically within the bore opening, as close as possible to the bore to maximize the viewing field of the screen while not touching any surface of the magnet. Due to the structural/engineering layout of the scanner room, a stand devised to straddle the patient table, or a free standing articulating mounting arm that would wrap around the patient table are preferred. 6. Vendor shall be able to meet delivery within 30 days of award date.
