- Sources Sought The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 334290. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FBO. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. General Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, has a requirement for Johnson Controls Metasys Upgrade. Description & Salient Characteristics The contractor will provide Two ADX Redundant Servers with failover, Metasys Software Upgrade, labor to load JCI Software and transfer database from existing Server. Also, provide temperature/humidity and pressure monitoring for (28) rooms. Required Line Items: 1.Two ADX Redundant Servers with failover. Spec d below: 2.Metasys Software Upgrade, 3.labor to load JCI Software and transfer database from existing Server. 4.Also, provide temperature/humidity and pressure monitoring for (28) rooms. a. This will include: i. Pulling existing database from system and covert data for compatibility with new Servers. ii. New servers will be fully redundant with 100% failover, including SQL, Metasys and failover software following the (Server Specs). iii. Upgrade existing NAE s to software revision 9.0 and verify proper operation. iv. Provide (2) Johnson Controls Network Automation Engines for THP monitoring. v. Provide New FEC panels, DP sensors, Temperature/Humidity sensors and electrical installation for (28) isolation rooms. 1.Includes programming, setup, checkout and graphics. All electrical connections will be supplied by contractor. b. Commission servers and verify proper operation. c.
