Description

Fayetteville HCC, Fayetteville, North Carolina intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price service agreement for mammogram systems. VAMC Fayetteville and its outlaying facilities are outfitted throughout with Hologic mammogram equipment and for standardization purposes, the remaining Fayetteville Healthcare systems will continue to use Hologic mammography equipment. This will be a one year contract with 3-12-month option periods. This requirement is intended for award to: Hologic Inc., 250 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752 under the authority FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 811219, small business size standard: $20.5M. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication (September 18,2017). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Questions shall be submitted electronically to benetta.northern@va.gov. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
