- The solicitation number is FA9302-17-R-K094. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC-2005-95, DFARs Change Notice DPN-20161222, and AFFARS Parts AFAC-2017-0127 (effective 03 June 2016). Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) code is 7125. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337215 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Air Force Test Center (AFTC) Contracting Directorate, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to procure the following supplies: Five (5) Heavy Duty Roll-Out Shelving Units •· Fixed, non-adjustable top shelf •· Adjustable shelving •· Three slide out shelves if unit is one piece or three slide out shelves per side if unit has middle joining braces/legs Ten (10) Additional Shelves for Heavy Duty Roll-Out Shelving Unit Overall shelving unit size: 114" x 32" x 80" Individual shelf size: 51 ¼" x 32" if three (3) half-length shelves per side 102.5"x32" if three (3) full-length shelves per unit 1,500 lbs. capacity per shelf minimum 6,000 lbs. capacity per unit minimum Shelves should be able to extend out 20" minimum and lock in place FOB: Destination Anticipated Delivery Date: 12 Oct 17 The government will be evaluating quotes IAW FAR 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) price (ii) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; Only the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror will be requested to provide the Heavy Duty Roll-Out Shelving Units and Additional Shelves. Award will be made to the LPTA offer that is most advantageous to the Government. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis/solicitation are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination (Edwards AFB, CA 93524). Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis. Please see the attached Provisions and Clauses.
