- Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Cell), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Encore Medical, L.P. in the estimated amount of $30,000.00 to purchase Total Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis Implants and Instruments for surgery that will be used in patient specific surgeries located in the Department of Anesthesia and Operative Service at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. Prior to the surgery, the surgeon shall make the determination that these products or other branded products will best meet the individual patients' medical needs/requirements. All products must be FDA approved. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Ms. Kendre Green, kendre.m.green.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
