Description
Amendment to change SOW to min & Max HP and to extend the closing date to 09/15/17 @ 9AM CDT 1. SCOPE The contractor shall supply and install two (2) 100HP Minimum to 115 HP Maximum outboard boat motors; one (1) for Lock and Dam 2 in Hastings, MN and one (1) for Lock and Dam 3 in Welch, MN. The US Army Corps of Engineers is willing to transport the 17 foot rescue boat for installation of the motors up to a distance of 50 miles from each Lock and Dam, if installation is to occur farther away than the stated 50 miles, it is the responsibility of the Offeror to arrange transport of the boat, and the cost of transport is to be included in the quoted price of the motors. The existing motor will be removed and retained by government staff. 2. NEEDS DESCRIPTION The outboards are used to power the downstream rescue boat, its dependability is critical to prevent loss of life. 3. SPECIFICATIONS The outboard motors shall be Suzuki 100HP or equal by meeting or exceeding the following requirements: - 100 Horse power Minimum to 115 Maximum - 4 stroke EFI - 20" shaft - Electric start - Multiple engine control/with trim control - Power trim - Engine console mount control (with trim) - Props - Audible Overheat warning device - Emergency stop switch - Audible Low oil warning device - Mounting hardware - 12 foot wiring harness - Needs to fit engine controls. - 12 foot cables - Manufactures warranty - Authorized service center within 75 miles ALL QOUTES SHALL STATE MAKE AND MODEL OF OUTBOARD MOTOR THE VENDOR IS QUOTING, AND SHALL ALSO INCLUDE A CUT-SHEET/SPEC-SHEET AS WELL. 4. Trade In No trade in 5. Delivery Due Date The motors shall be delivered and installed on BOTH boats on or before 01 November 2017. 6. Shipment The bid price shall include the cost of transporting and unloading to the destination site. Shipment shall be prepaid and made at the Contractor's expense.
