Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has awarded Contract VA69D-17-P-0163 to Lakeside Electric, Inc. of Bloomingdale, IL to provide an emergency service to the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, IL. This work included all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to: Remove 3 feed pump soft starts and replace with new soft starts (S811T18P3S). Remove and bypass existing timers on feed pump controls. Clean and check all feed pump disconnects to insure proper connections. Remove existing failed medium pressure condensate return pump controls and install. new medium pressure condensate return pump controls. Transport all new components to the site and remove failed units from site. All components will be installed and tested for proper operation when complete. Restore site to original condition. All labor and materials will be guaranteed for 1 years. This contract includes one contract line item number (CLIN), a period of performance of 08/18/2017 through 09/17/2017, and has a total value of $27,600.00. This acquisition was conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and the contract is firm fixed price under NAICS Code 238210.
