Description

Special Notice.   The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to AUDIO FIDELITY COMMUNICATIONS CORP dba THE WHITLOCK GROUP for the purposes of procuring CABLE CONNECTORS to include (LF FUSION ADJUSTABLE WALL MOUNT, FUSION ABOVE/BELOW SHELF, MULTI PAK SURGE SUPPRESSOR & FILTER, EXTRON DTP HDMI 4K 230 TRANSMITTER, EXTRON DTP HDMI 4K 230 RECEIVER, NEC 32 INCH TV, CHIEF SWING ARM WALL MOUNT, MULTI PAK SURGE SUPPRESSOR & FILTER, PROJECTOR LASER W/LENS, PROJECTOR MOUNT & KEY LOCK, CABLE CONNECTORS & MISC INTEGRATION HARDWARE, FIELD INSTALLATION, SHOP & RACK FABRICATION, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING & DESIGN, CAD DOCUMENTATION, CONTROL SYSTEM & DEVICE PROGRAMMING, DOCUMENTATION, and LABOR SERVICES) for the Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of cable connectors for this particular requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the specialty hand instruments may give written notice to Jackie.Bray@VA.Gov by 3:00pm e.s.t. on September 13, 2017. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
