- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to award a sole source, fixed-price purchase order to AT&T/Southwestern Bell to purchase local and long distance services for the Riverside Indian School. Total estimated cost is $19,000. This will cover all telephones lines under the Plexar II and Super Trunk Service. No competition is being sought. AT&T/Southwestern Bell is the only known vendor for this remote location. The period of service will be from 09/30/2017 to 10/01/2018. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The BIA intends on proceeding with awarding a fixed price purchase order AT&T/ Southwestern Bell.
