- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source Blanket Purchase Agreement to PVP Advanced EO Systems, Inc., Tustin, CA. The Federal Aviation Administration Material Management Branch (AML-4060) has a requirement for CA for Repairs and Upgrades of the Night Hawk Pan Tilt Unit (PTU) for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Northern Border (NB) remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Specialist, Chris Ekadis via email (christopher.ekadis@faa.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
