Page 2 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue Solicitation VA797E-18-R-0059 for the Influenza Virus Vaccine requirements for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), and Indian Health Service (IHS), and James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) for the 2018-2019 influenza season. Items and estimated quantities are as follows: *All Vaccines shall have a shelf life (expiration date) of no less than 9 months. 1) 10 dose multiple dose vial or 10 0.5ml vials; Quadrivalent; Latex Free; 2018-2019 influenza season; FDA approved for persons 18 years and older. Latex Free Vial (10 doses/vial or box) VA 30,000 vials BOP 6,000 vials IHS 22,100 vials FHCC 11 vials 2) Pre-filled single dose syringes with plunger and luer lock needle attachment; Quadrivalent; 2018-2019 influenza season; FDA approved for persons 18 years and older. NOTE: Pre-filled single dose syringes with any type of needle attached are not acceptable. Syringe (Box of 10) VA 200,000 Syringe (Box of 10) BOP- 4,000 Syringe (Box of 10) FHCC 607 Syringe (Box of 10) 3) Pre-filled single dose syringes w/plunger and luer lock needle attachment; Trivalent or Quadrivalent; 2018-2019 influenza season; Must be specifically designed for persons 65 years and older as outlined by the CDC. NOTE: Pre-filled single dose syringes with any type of needle attached are not acceptable. Syringe (Box of 10) VA 50,000 Syringe (Box of 10) BOP 100 Syringe (Box of 10) IHS 2,300 Syringe (Box of 10) FHCC- 280 Syringe (Box of 10) 4) Pre-filled single dose syringes with plunger and luer lock needle attachment; Quadrivalent; 2018-2019 influenza season; FDA approved and labeled with indications for administration to children 36 months and older. NOTE: Pre-filled single dose syringes with any type of needle attached are not acceptable. Syringe (Box of 10) IHS 15,000 Syringe (Box of 10) 5) Pre-filled single dose, syringe with plunger and luer lock needle attachment; Quadrivalent, 2017-2018 influenza season; Must be a split virus vaccine (subvirion or purified surface antigen) that has been FDA approved and labeled with indications for administration to children 6- 35 months of age (pediatric) preservative free. Syringe (Box of 10) IHS 380 Syringe (Box of 10) One award will be made per line item for VA, BOP, IHS, and FHCC requirements. Contractor(s) will be required to deliver the vaccine FOB Destination to Government facilities within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Solicitation number VA797E-18-R-0059 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about September 21, 2017, with a closing date  of October 3, 2017.
