Question and Answers Amendment 0001 Conformed Amendment 0001 W564KV-17-R-0023 Solicitation Amendment 0001 Attached Solicitation Attached ***For additional location details and approved Force Protection Housing information, please submit a request in writing with a POC listed to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist listed within this notice. The POC provided must have a security clearance. Do not contact FPD Israel for this information. An official amendment will be forthcoming concerning this update.*** The U.S. Army, 409 th Contracting Support Brigade, Theater Contracting Center, Unit 23156, APO, AE 09054-3156, has a requirement for non-personal guard services for equipment and personnel until completion of follow on contract award. Any interested parties must meet Security Level A requirements. Monitor security sensors and have personnel positioned to perform security functions for protecting a site in Israel from 29 OCT 2017- 30 APR 2018 with 4 anticipated option periods. Provide and maintain security force to execute their task. The Contractor must have a SECRET facility clearance and all personnel must have a secret clearance. This is a follow on acquisition for contract W564KV-13-C-0016. There will be an anticipated Mobilization Period from 29 OCT 2017- 1 JAN 2017. A firm fixed price (FFP), single award commercial contract is intended to be used to fulfill this requirement. Complete details will be given in Request for Proposal (RFP) W564KV-17-R-0023 to be released to Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOps), on or about 15 Aug 2017. This acquisition is being procured on a full and open competition basis with no set aside using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and Part 15 procedures. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561612. The anticipated response date is 30 days after release of the solicitation. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive any contract award or payment. The SAM website is https://www.sam.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://www.sam.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ.
