Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 prepared with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) has a need for Canned Emergency Water to provide a long term available emergency water supply on short notice to Livermore VA facility, a VA facility that has antiquated systems, one access road in, is in a drought, fire, and earthquake area. This water will enable the facility to continue to provide care when systems fail. Solicitation number # VA261-17-Q-1215 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 effective January, 20, 2017. The proposed contract action is for supplies that the Government intends to award using a small business set-aside. NAICS code # 312112 and size standard is 1000 Employees. Only electronic offers will be accepted. Offers are due to joleo.dianala@va.gov by September 22, 2017, 5:00 PM. Pacific Time.
