Description
Request for Fuel Contract Physical Support Branch, Dredge Goetz, request the award of a mid-stream fuel contract for the purchase of up to 65,000 gallons of #2 dyed off-road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL). The Dredge Goetz fleet will be operating/ passing below lock and dam 26/Mel Price at river mile 200 between September 19th, 2017 and September 20th, 2017. The dredge plant is expected to continue up stream to Illinois River (IWW RM 77) for dredge operations. This contract is to supply mid- stream fueling for the Dredge Goetz and its supporting equipment. Scope of Work Purchase of up to 65,000 gallons of #2 off-road diesel fuel. Delivery will have to be coordinated with the on-site supervisor Jon Miller: 651-769-3801. Fuel deliveries will be sometime between September 19th, 2017 and September 20th, 2017 and happen mid-stream. The entire delivery will be only transferred mid-stream when the dredge fleet arrives on fueling location during the aforementioned dates. The fuel will be pumped onboard a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons of fuel. The fuel hose connection are 3" cam-lock fitting. The USACE will have 3" adapter fitting if required. The fuel barge is owned and operated by the USACE and annually inspected by the United States Coast Guard. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. The transport barge will be responsible for all transport barge activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. Delivery location Information: Fuel will be delivered to: Dredge Goetz Fleet via a mid-stream fueling below Mel Price Lock and Dam (Lock and Dam 26). Fuel delivery must be coordinated with on-site supervisor, Jon Miller: 651-769-3801.
