Existing Window Drawings PWS East Window Photos Asbestos Information Kitchenette Elevation Q&A *** 19 SEPTEMBER 2017 - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FROM PRE-BID SITE VISIT POSTED ALONG WITH OTHER RELEVANT DOCUMENTS/PICTURES/DRAWINGS *** ___________________________________________________________________ *** 24 AUGUST 2017 - SOLICITATION IS NOW POSTED. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED IFB (SF1442) AND ATTACHMENTS 1-6 *** The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and perform all work required to relocate RIO and RIF in Building 106 The work to be performed includes the following principal features: • Remove existing ceiling and associated components, including ceiling tiles, ceiling grid, lighting fixtures, mechanical devices, sprinkler heads, and speakers. • Remove existing interior walls within the area of work and associated components, including electrical switches and outlets. • Remove and salvage all existing doors. Remove existing raised flooring and associated hardware. • Remove existing acoustical ceiling systems, gypsum board ceilings and associated electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems as indicated. Salvage life safety system components for reuse as directed on electrical and mechanical drawings. • Remove existing unused systems, cables, etc. above ceiling. • Install new metal stud/gypsum board walls • Enclose columns with gypsum board, finish and paint to match walls. • Install new doors • Paint all finished walls • Install new flooring • Install new acoustical ceiling grid and tiles • Install insulation • Install new lighting fixtures • Install new sprinkler heads This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.5. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with an associated small business size standard of $36,500,000 average annual revenue. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Questions and comments are welcome and must be sent to the Contract Specialist Brooke Hoffman at Brooke.Hoffman@us.af.mil The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted online at the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov under the reference number FA8751-17-B005 on or about 10 August 2017. Bids will be due approximately 30 days later. A site visit will be conducted about 10 days after issuance of the IFB. The date will be finalized when the IFB is posted. The IFB documents will only be available electronically. Potential bidders will be responsible for downloading the IFB documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and any additional information. Award will be a firm fixed price (FFP) contract resulting from a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB). Competing bidder's bids shall be ranked according to price. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsible bidder, whose bid is responsive to the terms of the IFB. Bids will be accepted on an all or none basis only. Partial bids will not be accepted. Successful bidders will be selected based upon the lowest total evaluated price (TEP) Interested vendors may register their contact information at the Federal Business Opportunities website under this notice. The list will be available online and is to facilitate subcontracting and teaming opportunities. NOTE: In order to receive a contract award, if issued, the successful bidder must be actively registered in and have their Online Representations and Certifications completed in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM)- www.SAM.gov. Bidders must also be actively registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) - https://wawf.eb.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
