Description: Purchase Description 818 SWITCHES AND CONVERTERS 8 September 2017 1.0. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide to the 402d Software Maintenance Group (SMXG), Robins Air Force Base, ARINC 818 test equipment manufactured by Great River Technology and Techway including Spider (Techway) and Pantera (Great River Technology) switches. The Contractor shall provide associated hardware and software and the manufacturer's standard warranty. 1.1. Items shall be compatible with the 402d SMXG lab's existing equipment, HS_SAM serial number 130023. 1.3. All components shall be new and non-refurbished. 1.4. Warranty: The Contractor shall provide the manufacturer's standard one-year warranty parts and labor warranty, providing coverage for any defects, to begin upon date of acceptance. 1.5. All proposed products must be compliant with the Trade Agreements Act of 1979 (TAA). 2.0 OPTIONS: The Contractor shall provide four (4) sequential 12-month extended warranty to begin upon expiration of the basic warranty. Extended warranty extends the basic warranty coverage for defects and includes diagnostic troubleshooting. 3.0 DELIVERY: The Contractor shall deliver all items no later than twelve (12) weeks after contract award to the following address and Government Point of Contact (POC). Early delivery is acceptable. Attn.: Peter Gilbane 580th SMXS / Flt J 280 Byron St., Bldg 229E Robins AFB, GA 31098 (478) 926-0439 peter.gilbane@us.af.mil Alternate POC: Adam Saunders, (478) 327-5345/ adam.saunders@us.af.mil 4.0 Affirmative Procurement Programs (APP) (formerly Green Procurement Program): 4.1 In accordance with FAR 23.404(b)(1), 100% of purchases of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-designated products included in the Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) list [http://www.epa.gov/cpg/products.htm] and/or United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-designated products included in the biobased product listings [https://www.epa.gov/smm/comprehensive-procurement-guideline-cpg-program] shall, at a minimum, meet the EPA or USDA standards for recovered materials or biobased content, respectively, unless an item cannot be acquired competitively within a realistic timeframe, meet appropriate performance standards, and/or be acquired at a reasonable price. 4.2 In accordance with FAR 23.404(a)(iii), the Contractor shall provide estimates and verification of recovered material for EPA-designated CPG products and certification for both EPA-designated CPG products and USDA-designated biobased products. In accordance with the Robins Air Force Base, Georgia / Green Procurement Program (GPP) Plan, the Contractor shall provide estimates and certifications to the Government for completion of the applicable attachment(s) to be included in the Purchase Request (PR) package.
