- Sole Source. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Airbus DS Communications Inc. located at 42505 Rio Nedo, Temecula CA, 92590-3726. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for a quantity of one each, E911 Emergency Call Taking System upgrade manufactured by Airbus DS Communications Inc. The systems manufactured by Airbus DS Communications are the only authorized systems per Department of Defense (DoD) mandated Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) approval for interconnectivity. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334290, Other Communication Equipment Manufacturing as it relates to this requirement with a size standard of 750 employees. Award for this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 23 September 2017, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional release of protected information, all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item.
