- The Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services, Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas submitted a requirement to establish a cost-per-test arrangement to include equipment, reagents, consumables, and any necessary services to allow for Infectious Disease testing. The solicitation number is W81K00-17-T-0280, and will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. The solicitation will be available on 21 September 2017 at FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. The solicitation will close on 28 September 2017. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be physically issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored. This new solicitation includes some of the tests from that contract, as well as tests that are new to Brooke Army Medical Center.
