Description
Medtronic Item List The US Army Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C) has a requirement for Medtronic brand name Cardiac Rhythm, Cardiovascular, and Neurological implants and supplies. RHCO-C is issuing this Sources Sought Notice for planning purposes. The type of solicitation that will be issued will be based on the responses to this notice. This notice is not a solicitation of binding offers, nor is it a notice to proceed. Specifically, various medical treatment facilities (MTFs) within the RHCO-C area of responsibility, to include San Antonio Military Medical Center, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, and Evans Army Community Hospital, have patients that require cardiac and neurological surgeries using Medtronic implants. Typical surgeries include pacemakers, valve replacements, catheters, ablation, shunts, discectomy and fusions, among others. In the event that a patient with existing Medtronic implants requires another surgery, or a new patient presents with certain cardiac or neurological needs, a clinician may determine that using Medtronic implants is in the best interests of that specific patient in order to achieve the best possible outcome/result for that patient. Therefore, RHCO-C is seeking to establish a one-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a vendor capable of providing Medtronic items specifically, and issuing a delivery order on behalf of each of the requiring MTFs for use if and when such a need arises. Attached below is a list of the items used by these MTFs over the last 12 months, to include the item description, Medtronic catalog number, and an estimated quantity. The list should be not be construed to be all-inclusive; other items may be added if they are within the scope of cardiac and neurosurgical supplies. It is not the intent of RHCO-C to include items that are already available via a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) platform, such as a DAPA or ECAT. Vendors that consider themselves capable of providing Medtronic items are invited to submit a written capability statement for the Government to consider. If a vendor wishes to submit items other than the brand name of Medtronic, they may do so for the RHCO-C and the clinicians to consider in the future. All responses to this notice are due to the POC listed below by 27 Sept 2017, 12:00pm noon CST.
