Early delivery is acceptable. 12. Qualification Requirements: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety. The requirements of FAR 9.202(a) apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The contracting officer need not delay a proposed award in order to provide a potential offeror with any opportunity to demonstrate its ability to meet the standards specified for qualification. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualification of additional sources. Part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part.
