- DTFH6817Q00007 Mitigation 13b Plans Solicitation DTFH6817Q00007 Mitigation 13b PROJECT DETAILS: CA FLAP SR 36(13B) The Federal Highway Administration-Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), in cooperation with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), is proposing to restore parts of a wetland and fen located in eastern Humboldt County. In general, the work will include improving an access road, removal of fill, and stabilization of an outfall channel. Major work items include: Excavation 640 CUYD Roadbed Reconditioning 1,200 LNFT Roadway Aggregate 500 TON Seeding and Mulching 2,400 SQYD Wood Log Check Dams 3 EACH The fen and surrounding area is a rare and unique ecosystem with several protect species. Precautions will be necessary to avoid harm to species and damage to the environment. ESTIMATED COST: The current construction estimate is under $150,000.00. SCHEDULE: It is anticipated that the project will be advertised in September with work beginning this fall and completed prior to winter. SET ASIDE: Total Small Business
