Solicitation # F3YTAZ7223A001_SmithC Description: (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) The solicitation number F3YTAZ7223A001_SmithC is being issued as a request for quotation. (3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (4) This acquisition is issued 100 percent set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215. (5) The requirement is for a Mobile Assist Carriage System. (6) Please see attachment one (1) for complete list of dimensions and specifics. (7) Place of delivery is Tinker AFB, OK 73145 and is FOB destination. Please specifiy in quote the number of calendar days after award delivery is to be expected. (8) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (9) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The government will evaluate offers based on the following: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (10) The government advises Offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Offerors are also reminded to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.SAM.gov prior to submitting an offer, per DFARS 252.204-7004 alt A. As such, the following provisions are inserted: 52.237-1 SITE VISIT (APR 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. (End of provision) 52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) - ALTERNATE I (FEB 1995) (a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
